This year, SCS Automaberg proudly celebrates an important milestone: 25 years of service to the paper converting and bookbinding industry. A journey that began in 2000 with a clear and ambitious vision: to design and produce innovative, tailor-made solutions capable of filling a gap and meeting a concrete need in the finishing sector. Solutions designed to integrate seamlessly into our customers' production processes.
Since then, much has changed. But one thing has remained the same: our passion for excellence.
It all started in Seriate, in the heart of the province of Bergamo. From a small idea of the Scarpellini brothers and their friend Crovetto, SCS Automaberg was born, initially with just 5 employees.
Among the first machines developed, the Trim&Perf stands as a milestone in our history. This multifunctional solution, designed for various finishing operations, allowed us to make our name in the industry, showcasing our flexibility and expertise.
In the early 2000s, we took part in our first trade show: Grafitalia. An important step that marked SCS Automaberg’s official debut on the Italian market.
Gradually, thanks to our constant commitment and the trust of our customers, we grew, expanding both our team and our range of solutions. This growth brought new needs and required larger, more functional spaces. That’s why, in 2004, we moved to Brusaporto, our current headquarters.
The desire to expand into international markets led us, in 2008, to participate in Drupa: an experience that gave us global visibility and represented a turning point in our company’s history.
In 2015, we reached another key milestone by entering the die-cutting world with the DCH 200. This machine was an immediate success, becoming one of our most popular models and significantly strengthening our position in the sector.
